Career:
NYSC (National Youth Service Corps): He did NYSC at the Kaduna State Ministry of Works and Transport after his studies.
Early Employment: He worked in various capacities in banking, computing, business administration, etc., including a stint at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from about 2013.
State Government Role:
In Zamfara State, under Governor Bello Matawalle, he served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry. In that role, he was noted as the youngest person to hold that office in the state at the time of his appointment.

As of May 2025, Yazeed Shehu DanFulani was appointed Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).
His term is to begin from May 21, 2025, for an initial term of four years under the provisions of the NAIC Act.
