The wife of the president and first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria Mrs Senator Remi Ahmed Bola Tinibu has paid a condolence visit to Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi and his wife Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi over the death of his mother Hajiya Maryam Namadi and his eldest son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi who died on December 25th and 26th 2024 respectively.
Speaking during the condolence visit Mrs Tinibu said, she was out of the country when the monumental death occured, though she condole the governor and his wife through phone and also sent a delegation but she still feel it as a moral responsibility to come to Jigawa and personal condole the governor,his family and entire people of state.
Mrs Tinibu noted that, the lost of the elder child at a tender age and the lost of mother are very painful and there is nothing she can say except to pray Almighty Allah to rest their soul in Jannatul Firdausi.
” Of course this is a period of trail to the family, however as people of faith we all believed that, Almighty Allah give life and take it and He fixed time for every living soul, therefore I urged you to take it as an act of destiny ”
” My sister I was deeply saddened to hear of your tragic loss, it must be profoundly painful, I can only imagine the depth of sorrow, please take heart”
“Our thought and prayer are with you, your family and Jigawa state people during this difficult time, May you find the strength in the love and support from those around you, and may the memories of your love once bring you comfort ” Senator Tinibu stated.
In his response governor Namadi thank Her Excellency Mrs Remi Tinibu for the visit, love , support and comfort she has been given to him and his family throughout this difficult period.
“We have nothing to say than to thanks, Mr president, thank you and you entourage and all people identified with us in this us on this trail period ” Governor Namadi stated.
Among her entourage during the visit included: the wife of the vice president, the wife of the Speaker national House of representatives among others.
