Jama’atul Tajdidil Islam (JTI) has extended its deepest condolences to the Kano State Government, the Muslim Ummah, and the immediate family of the late Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who passed away on 27th June 2025.
The condolence message was contained in a press statement signed by the group’s National Secretary, Sheikh Nura Adam Galadanci, and made available to journalists.
JTI described the death of the late Aminu Dantata as a great loss not only to Kano State but also to the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah.
The statement added that the late Aminu Dantata would continue to be remembered as a philanthropist, a statesman, and a man of simplicity with a spirit of humanity.
A renowned business tycoon, the late Dantata lived a simple life despite his immense wealth, extending his generosity to numerous humanitarian causes and earning widespread admiration.
The group prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata passed away at the age of 94 in a hospital in the United Arab Emirates, where he was receiving treatment for a prolonged illness.
The business magnate is survived by his wives, many children, and grandchildren. He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
