Dutse capital of Jigawa state was yesterday Friday agog with thousands of dignitaries including Governors Ministers, Emirs , Politicians, Technocrats , Professionals and well-wisher who stormed the capital city and attended the wedding ceremony of the state governor His excellency Malam Umar Namadi.”s daughter Dr Salma Namadi.
Governor Namadi married out his daughter Dr Salma Umar Namadi to Abba Suleiman Musa with N300,000 as dowry .
The wedding fatiha which took place at Dutse central mosque presided by the chief Imam Dr Muhammad Sani Bir in Kudu with Chief Imam Kafin Hausa Shiekh Imam Abdulwahab Hassan as guardian ( Wali) to the bride and the District head of Danbatta Alhaji Mansur Mukhtari Adnan as guardian to the groom.
The dignitaries graced the wedding fatiha included, Governors of Kebbi, Kano Zamfara, Gombe, Katsina and Yobe state. also the minister of budget and economic planing Muhammad Bagudu Abubakar.
Other in attendance were three former Jigawa state governors namely, Senator Ibrahim Saminu Turakin, Alhaji Sule Lamido and Barrister Ali Sa”sdu and formers speaker Rt Hon Bello Masari. former Minister of budget and economic planing Alhaji Shansuddeen Usman.
Also all members of Jigawa state executive council, Head of service, Speaker Jigawa state Assembly Rt Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyating and all 29 members of the assembly, former senator Muhammad Sabo Nakudu, Senator Dalladi Abdullahi Sankara and five first class Emirs in the state religious leaders and other dignitaries and well-wisher from within and outside the state.
