Federal Government through the federal ministry of Information commenced public sensitization in Jigawa state on number of interventions and economic empowerment packages in Nigeria.
Speaking at the flagging off of the campaign in Dutse capital the head of Federal Information Centre Jigawa state Alhaji Bashir Dahiru Galadanci said, the aims of the program is to rises public awareness on the policies and program of president Bola Ahmad Tinibu led administration.
Galadanci explained that, for every government to succeed in moving the society forward, it must rise the citizens awareness on the opportunities and the role everyone expected to play in the society.
He noted that in an effort to address the decades of economic challenges, open windows for jobs creation and enhancing productivity, federal government has initiated different empowerment and grant packages and they are there at door step of Nigerians waiting for them to access.”
It was learned that, many Nigerians are not aware of the opportunities, so at our own level in Jigawa state we were directed to engaged with stakeholders before we move out down to the communities for the enlightenment “
” The packages are there for every category of people, including Students, Graduate, Farmers, Food vendors, Business owners , civil servants, Small and medium entrepreneurs”.
However Mr Galadanci added that, federal government is currently executing various infrastructures projects, implementing policy and program to reform the country economy and public service delivery, and there is need for every Nigerian to be aquatinted on the need to support it.
“We can only have a Nigeria of our dream, a nation full of opportunities, prosperity peace and development, if everyone understand that the country belong to all of us and we must jointly work with patriotism”
Therefore the public enlightenment was aimed at raising the public awareness and bridge all the gaps for achieving the desire goals ” Galadanci declared
