We are determined to strengthen our consultations with Egypt, where we have similar attitudes and goals on many issues. In our meetings we agreed on establishing regular consultations for the resolution of regional issues, especially in Gaza.Turkey and Egypt have a common stance on the Palestinian issue.
The end of the genocide that has been going on for 11 months, a moment before a permanent ceasefire, and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid remains our priority.32% of the total aid delivered to Gaza so far has gone from Turkey.

Egypt, Qatar, and the United States are mediating the negotiations. We also support this process through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our National Intelligence Agency Directorate.
We are also continuing our efforts to hold the Israeli authorities responsible for committing crimes in Gaza to account in international courts. In our consultations, we also discussed regional issues including Eastern Mediterranean, Syria, Libya, Sudan and Horn of Africa.
During our meeting with Mr. Sisi in Cairo, we made a decision to restructure our High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. We also held the first meeting of this mechanism today.
With our joint statement, we confirmed our willingness to advance our cooperation in all fields including industry, trade, defense, health, environment and energy.
Over the last 10 years, we continued to rank among Egypt’s top 5 trading partners.

We are steadily moving towards our goal of increasing our sales volume to $15 billion in the next 5 years.
