A civil society known as Initiative For Enhancement of Livelihood has expressed satisfaction with modalities put in places for the ongoing distribution of Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Mosquitoes Nets across the 27 local government area of Jigawa state The executive Chairman of the Group Comrade Baba Ali Najo made the comment while inspecting the distribution exercise in Hadejia local government area of the state.
He explained that, base on what they have seen and reports received from other places, the exercise is going smoothly and very transparent which shows all the critical stakeholders are doing right job.” Prevention is Better Than Cure” we believed the distribution of these number of mosquito nets will go a long way in tackling t Maleria pevalence cases which is one of the major contributory factor to the high rate of child and maternal death in Jigawa state”.
The group commended Maleria Consortium, Global Fund and Jigawa state government for the humanitarian gesture.In his comment the Primary Healthcare Manager in charge of Hadejia local government Muhammad Lawan said, a total of 19,500 Households were issued with Net”s Card.in the area.” We have received a total of 51,200 Mosquito Nets from Dutse central store and the distribution exercise has already commenced as you see, and at the same time we are collecting the expired ones from the people for proper disposal “”The exercise is going smoothly here in Hadejia with very little technical challenges which we use to have resolve in time, and we are hopping to reached all the 19,500 households before the end of the exercise ” PHC Mana instated
