These features are what could easily be traced to and attributed to the personality of Governor Umar A Namadi fca, the executive Governor of the new and greater Jigawa State.
While celebrating him and cherishing his style of leadership at the occasion of his 62nd birthday of selflessness and committed to transforming the lives and wellbeing of Jigawa indigents, it wasn’t about the years of but also the remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication his Excellency exhibited is worth reckoning and a point to note. His selfless service as recognized and honored with the prestigious Governor of the Year 2024 award by Leadership Newspaper Group at its Annual Conference couple with the Vanguard Newspaper as it presented the 2024 Good Governance Award.
These prestigious awards are not just a personal achievement for His Excellency, but a strong affirmation of the transparent and all-inclusive leadership style, accountability, and unwavering commitment he has brought to the governance of Jigawa State. It reflects the transformational strides his Excellency has taken in agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, digital innovation, economic empowerment and system strengthening.
The good people Jigawa State irrespective of their geography or demography are keenly appreciating those giants strides especially those of us from the BirninKuduGwaramBuji axis including but not limited to improve infrastructural development(Birnin Kudu- Sundimina-Kiyawa road,Sara-Gantsa-Girimbo,Gwaram- Basirka ,Kila-Sakuwa etc ) leading to having an excellent road networks, better health care services,.
The Upgrading of Gwaram General Hospital and provision of essential health services stood clear and accomplished , the most appreciable Youth, women and vulnerable intervention /empowerment and pro poor policies that makes Jigawa State atop among its peers all of which this happened under the guidance and mentorship of the new political-breeds, setting the foundation for a brighter future by his Excellency
While we both reflect and recollect the footprints of Mallam Umar A Namadi fca within the shortest time of his administration, it is never out of place to cherish his vision, compassion, and relentless commitment to the welfare of our people which had transformed lives and uplifted communities across Jigawa and have made its’ citizens felt proud of their home state. (ALLAH YA SAKA DA MAFIFICIN ALHERI).
It is on record that these pivotal times have been marked by innovative policies, community engagement, and a steadfast dedication to progress and have truly made a lasting impact, inspiring so many to strive for excellence.
