ENHANCING PROFESSIONALISM:

• Commissioner of Police Borno State Command Visits Police College Maiduguri, Lectures Trainees on Crucial Topics

• Borno State Police Command Partners with UNDP on Infrastructural Development

 

Today 4th December 2024, The Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawan psc, visited Police College Maiduguri where he delivered an impactful lecture to trainees on Police Act 2020 and the importance of discipline in the force.

During his lecture, CP Yusufu emphasized the significance of adhering to Police Act 2020, which provides a framework for effective policing and promotes professionalism within the force.

 

The CP also stressed the need for discipline, highlighting its role in maintaining public trust and confidence in the police.

 

In another development, The Command received delegates from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) who paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police. The visit aimed to update the Commissioner on the ongoing infrastructural development projects for police facilities in Gwoza and Mongono. The projects are designed to provide improved police accommodation, Police Stations, solar panels, observation towers, and water reticulation systems, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness to Public service delivery in Borno.

 

The command remains committed and dedicated to upgrading the highest standards of professionalism and calls on members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities within their domain.
