The House of Representatives has queried alleged selective disbursement of Ninety Billion Naira Federal Government subsidy to pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj exercise.
At an investigative hearing by an Adhoc Committee of the House, lawmakers urged the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria to furnish Parliament with detailed expenditure of the Hajj subsidies for pilgrims.
There were submissions for development of standard operational practice for all operators in the Hajj management chain to serve as model for future Hajj operations. NTA News.
