In addition to the declaration of Monday 16th September as public holiday by Federal Government, Jigawa State Government has also declared Tuesday, September 17th 2024 work free day to mark the celebration of the Eidel-Maulud, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
This was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri and made available to newsmen men through his public relations officer Comrade Samaila Ibrahim Dutse.”I write to inform you that Government has declared 14th R/Awwal,1446AH (17th September, 2024) as work free day to celebrate the Birthday (Maulud Nabiy) of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)”
