Jigawa state government has hosted the National Qua”anic recitation completion participated exclusively by orphans children from 28 state of the federation.
The competition which was organized by Aytam International Foundation was targeted at encouraging and supporting orphans to seek for education and also give them sense of belonging by the society.
Speaking at the closing ceremony and prizes given of the two weeks competition, the Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi said, organizing such competition will help in promoting religious knowledge and moral discipline among young generation.
” This is a moral booster for children who lost their parents to be more determine in seeking for knowledge, and also a challenge for every child and parents to understand knowledge is the key for effective moral discipline and successful social and economic life for every human being “”
We have introduced many policies and program including Tsangaya Board to improve our quar”anic school system, tackle the menace of child street begging inline with our 22 point agenda””So we appreciated the organizer of this competition and I am assured you that, Jigawa state will continue to support you and give you all necessary assistance for sustaining the program in Nigeria ”

Governor Namadi stated In his speech the National coordinator of the Competition Dr Mubarak Ahmad said, the 3rd edition of the Musabaka was hosted by Jigawa state after the wife of the state governor Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi indicated interest to facilitate the process last year””
Her excellency Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi declared and blessed the opening session of the competition , today his excellency Governor Namadi is with us for closing and prize given to the winners, in fact this is unprecedented physical and moral support we ever received from any state
