Ten Injured, APC Secretariat Burnt, Agricultural Stores Looted In Jigawa Ten people were so far reported to have been injured as police use teargas to dispersed protestants across the Jigawa state.In an unprecedented situation in the history of the state, the protest is now taken place in over ten major town across the Jigawa state with report of destruction and looting of government property.
Report from Hadejia city confirmed that four people were admitted at hospital as a result of injuries and suffocation they suffered from heavy teargas shot at them by Anti- riot police, while Agricultural Supply stores were looted in the Area in Gumel, the store of state Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO), the house of the rep member representing Gumel, Gagarawa, Mai garati, The house of the APC Zonal vice chairman were vandalized and looted by the protestant who appeared to overpowered the security deployed in the area.How ever one lady was reported to had sustained injury by teargas gunshot, and she is currently receiving treatment at Gumel General hospitals.In Birnin kudu two people were the Jigawa state government Fertilizer store and Grains store were all vandalized and looted by the protestant who blocked all major roads passed through the town including Mai duguri Higher way.In Dutse capital five people were taken to Rasheed Shekoni general hospitals as a result of injuries they sustained, while security have succeeded in blocking the protestants from vandalizing many public properties, but APC state secreteriet i in the city was burnt.Similarly in Jahun, and Kazaure, Shuwarin towns the situation is the same as the protestant took to the street calling for the end of bad governance.However there is a fear for the escalation of the protest to other local government area as youth begins to regroup in defies of Ulamaus and Traditional Rulers call.
