August Nationwide Protest: Jigawa Engage Youth, Civil Societies, Trade Union, Others for Solution.

August Nationwide Protest: Jigawa Engage Youth, Civil Societies, Trade Union, Others for Solution

Following the agitation and plan for nationwide protest against hardship in Nigeria schedule for nex month of August, Leaders and critical stakeholders including 37 union had meet in Jigawa state to proper solution.

The meeting was called by Jigawa state government and held at government house Dutse was aimed at discussing how to join hands together to tackle the economic challenges, urged people to be more patient and council youth not to be agent of National destruction.

The participants included the executives, legislatures, political leaders, Head of security agencies, medias, Labor, trade unions, civil societies, students Union, community organization, women group, youth groups, traditional rulers and religious leaders among others.

Speaking at the opening session of the meeting, the Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi has aknowleged the hardship in Nigeria but assured Jigawa people and Nigeria that, leaders at all levels are working hard to liberate the country from the economic crunch.

Governor Namadi told the people that, the critical condition in the nation needs prayer, hardworking perseverance and collaborated efforts to tackle it, noted that, street protest can’t change it rather it may end of aggravating the situation, creat breakdown of law and order as it happened in some countries.

He than beg the Jigawa youth to uphold their cultural and moral discipline which taught them fear of Allah, be trustworthy and refraining from any act that may cause cheating , breakdown of peace and stability.

Governor Namadi also called on the participants to thoroughly discuss and advice government on the right measures need to be taken to ensure the maintainace of law and order while at the same time working for addressing the economic challenges.

In his speech the chairman of Jigawa state council of chiefs and Emir of Hadejia Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje has assured the governor that, they will work closely with religious leaders, community leaders and all stakeholders to ensure the maintainace of peace and stability in the state.

He also called on youth and general public to take heart, and be more patient as they will remain resolute in advising government to came up with more measures that will provide permanent solution to the persistent social and economic challenges in the country.

In his side, the emir of Dutse Alhaji Hameen Nuhu Sanusi called on the participants to be bold in talking to their followers on the need to be law abiding citizens and also advice government on the measures need to be taken for tackling the existing challenges.

In their submission the chairman Jigawa state council of Ulamaus Justice KHADIJA Bashir (Rtd) said, Nigeria is passing through one of the trail and very difficult time, and everyone is needed to correct his mistake, not shifting blames, also at the same time government shall work closely with people in a transparent manner for addressing the existing and any incoming challenge.

The Ulamaus also charge government and policy makers to as a matter of urgent to accelerate their efforts and came up with more policies and program that will reduce the economic challenges in the society.
