As Jigawa state local government council election schedule to hols 5th October draw closer , the state governor Malam Umar Namadi has received hundreds of decampee from People Democratic Party (PDP) and New Nigerian People Party to APC
The governor received the decampee during All Progressive Congress (APC)
Zonal campaign held in Gumel local government of the state.
Speaking at the Northwest Senatorial district Zonal campaign, Governor Namadi described the huge gathering as a manifestations of satisfaction and confidence the people of the zone have on APC and his government.
” I am impressed with the larg turnout of APC members and good people of Jigawa state to our Gumel Zonal campaign, I hope you will also come out in mass to vote for APC candidates in the forthcoming 5th October local government council election in the state”
For those who decamped to APC today for appreciating the development project and program we have been doing in the state we assured them that APC will continue to work for the improvement of social and economic life of Jigawa state people and Nigeria at large ” Namadi stated
However Governor Namadi urged Jigawa people to give more support to his Government and federal government in their quest to liberate the citizens from the current social and economic challenges.
In his speech at the occasion the party deputy state chairman Alhaji Nasiru Jahun told the gathering that, the 12 point agenda of Governor Umar Namadi has already started yeilding fruitful results, maintain that electing APC candidates at all the 27 local government of the state will enhance the implementation of the agenda design to make Jigawa state prosperous and Great.
During the rally flaggs was presented to 12 local government chairmen candidates of APC in the senatorial zone.
