Over 1,200 physically challenged and old age women received 25kg bag of rice distributed by wife of the president Her excellency Senator Mrs Remi Bola Ahmad Tinubu in Jigawa state.Speaking at the distribution ceremony held at Banquet Hall Government House Dutse, Senator Remi Tinibu said, the selection of the vulnerable women for the presidential palliative is part of the agenda broder aspect of “Renewal Hope ” designed on all inclusion program .
Mr Remi Tinibu who was represented by the wife of Jigawa state governor Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namad , reiterated her commitment to champion the implementation of policies and program that will improve the socio-economic life of Nigerian women.”
This food palliative we are distributing is specifically for vulnareble women, we paid this priority for the compassion we have to the group, and we will continue to accorded them priority for sense of belonging and humanity””Empowering and assisting women is equal to empowering the family and we do hope this palliative will help the beneficiaries families in this trial period of social and economic challenges” she stated.
Speaking at the occasion the state Commissioner for women affairs Hajiya Hadiza Abdulwahab said, the beneficiaries were selected in collaboration with stakeholders from accross the 27 local government area of the state.In their remarks during the occasion, the beneficiaries has thanks the wife of the president, Jigawa state governor and his wife for the kind gesture and promised to reciprocate the love and sense of concern before and beyond 2027.
