FG To Create One Million Jobs Through SMEs Intervention –+ Vp Shetima
The Vice president of Nigeria Senator Kashim Shettima has declared that, federal government is targeting to create one million Jobs in one year through various intervention to Small and Medium Enterprise in Nigeria.
The Vice president stated this while speaking during a one day working visit to Jigawa state.
Senator Kashim Shettima noted that, the Renewal Hope agenda of president Bola Tinibu was design to tackle poverty, creat jobs opportunities by encouraging and supporting medium and small scale business which constitute over 65 percent of investment vand employed 83wiiii0 percent of labor in Nigeria.
He added that, president Tinibu initiated many intervention for SMEs which they hope to generate over 300,000 businesses which will also provide over one million Jobs in one years.
He than commended Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi for working hard to help people to have jobs and sustainable livelihood for growth and development.
During the one day working visit the Vice President Senator Kashim.Shettima has flagged off the training of 1,000 youth on Artificial intelligence ( AI), 20,000 hecter. of sprinkler based solar powered irrigation and Small and medium scale enterprises clinic in Jigawa state for boosting Jobs creation and poverty eradication.
He also commissioned 100 KVA solar-energy power supply installed to provide stable power to small scale enterprises at Dutse Markets; distribution of motorcycle to 1,450 agric extension workers and distribution of Agricultural inputs to rural farmers.
In his speech the during the visit the chief host and Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi stated that, all
the programs commissioned by Vice president have unlimited potentials to greatly contribute to nation’s quest for economic diversification, food security, employment generation and job creation.
“The projects would support not only the attainment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for inclusive and sustainable socioeconomic growth and development but also the attainment of our State’s Development Objectives of improved socioeconomic wellbeing for all, as encapsulated in our 12-point Agenda”.
