Rt Hon Dangyatin who is a member representing Miga constituency, distributed the empowerment packages to support people to improve their own business of choice to achieve poverty eradication and economic growth.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Speaking during the flagging off for the distribution of the packages held in Migawa Local Government Headquarters, the state Governor Malam Umar Namad commended the speaker for the good Initiative.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Governor Namadi noted that, the empowerment distributed by the speaker will complement the effort of the federal government and state government on empowerment and Jobs creation for sustainable growth and development.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The governor assured the Jigawa people the commitment of his Government to join hands with any collaborators in building the capacity of people of the state through all necessary intervention to boost production and sustainable livelihood.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In his remarks at the occasion the speaker Rt Hon Dangyatin said, the benafitheiries were selected from across 10 political wards of his constituency.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He noted that, the selection was carefully made to ensure the beneficiaries were not in the list of the state or federal government empowerment Programme.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
empowerment program, held at the Local Government headquarters in Miga town, saw beneficiaries from the 33 electoral wards receiving<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The benafitheiries received different packages including cash ranging from N100,000, N50,000, N30,000 and N20,000 respectively.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Speaker also thanks governor Namadi for supporting members of the state house of assembly to deliver devidant of democracy to their people through “Constituency Project “.<\/p>\n
