Jigawa state government has opened three day training for 120 Special Assistant (SAs) to the state governor on Education to strengthen their capacity on school monitoring for improving learning outcome.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the opening session of the program the Senior Special Adviser to the state governor on Education Alhaji Abdullahi Hudu said the workshop was organized to build the capacity of the appointees to enable them discharge their duty effectively.<\/p>\n

He said, education is one of the sector of top priority in the Governor Namadi 12 point agenda design to make Jigawa state great, and so many policies and program have been carrying out to revitalize the sector.<\/p>\n

“Monitoring is one of the key aspects for improving schools management and learning outcome, this made governor Namadi in his wisdom to appointed minimum of two special assistant on education in each of the 27 local government area of the state””<\/p>\n

” In every local government there are Special Assistant on Basic Education and also for seniors Secondary Education , they are all expected to help in monitoring the projects and learning activities at the schools of their jurisdiction ”<\/p>\n

” We gathered them today, to trained them on what they are expected to do, how to do it and also to tell them that, the work given to them doesn’t have any political inclination, they are on assignment for building the future of Jigawa state, therefore they must be proactive, just, simple and firmed in monitoring the schools and given back report to designated body ”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mr Hudu however revealed that, a portal will be created for the SAs to be sending their reports electronically without necessary for them to always travel to Dutse capital for submitting their reports.<\/p>\n
