{"id":3419,"date":"2024-10-16T20:53:43","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T20:53:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/attajdidnews.com.ng\/?p=3419"},"modified":"2024-10-16T20:53:43","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T20:53:43","slug":"95-injured-50-in-jigawa-petroleum-tanker-explosion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/attajdidnews.com.ng\/?p=3419","title":{"rendered":"95 Injured 50 In Jigawa Petroleum Tanker Explosion\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">Muhammad Garba<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Over 95 persons were confirmed dead while 50 others were seriously injured in a petroleum tanker explosion occured in a Majiya village of Taura of local government Jigawa state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Eyewitness revealed that the tanker exploded while people people were busy scooping petrol from the fallen tanker which consequently led to the death of about hundreds people<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Confirming the tragic incident, the spoke person of the state police command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, DSP Lawal Shisu Adam said, at about 12:30am on Wednesday when the villagers started scooping fuel from the fallen petrol it suddenly exploded into flames.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">DSP Lawal noted that the tanker driver was from Port Harcourt going to Nguru in Yobe State when lost control and fell down at Majiya village.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u201cThe content in the tanker flooded gutters and drainages in the village.
