Speaking at the flagging off for the Zonal campaign held at the ancient city of Hadejia, the state governor Malam Umar Namadi said, Local Government Election is one of the critical components of democracy in Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor Namadi noted that, his Government is committed to ensure peaceful conduct of the election for strengthening the democratic development in the state.He told the mammoth gathering of the APC faithful that, their party had in the last 9 years delivered dividend of democracy to every Community in the state.”You all bear witness on our commitment to improve social and economic life of Jigawa state people through execution of various projects and programs under our 12 point agenda, therefore voting for APC candidates at all the 27 local government area will help us in our collective effort toward making Jigawa state Great” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
” I called on all good people of Jigawa state to vote for our party candidates as we have confidence on their loyalty patriotism, transparency and commitment for serving the state and humanity in according to our party philosophy and our 12 point agenda ” governor Namadi stated.In his speech, the state party chairman Hon Aminu Sani Gumel charged party members to go to every village,town, city and houses to campaign for the party candidates as they have all evidence to show on the positive impacts of APC government in transforming Jigawa state in all soil and economic ramifications.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have confidence that, Jigawa people will overwhelmingly vote for our candidates, but since it is part of democratic tradition to go out for campaign during election period, so let us uphold the tradition and use it as time to meet and greet with all people of the state” Gumel stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At his own side, the Commissioner State Ministry for Local Government Hon Muhammad Maikudi MK assured the Jigawa state people that, APC will continue to work for them and their children betterment, therefore they shall reaffirmed their confidence on the party by voting all it’s candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
