The Director General Jigawa state Due Process and Projects Monitoring Bureau Dr Muhammad Kasim has threatening to blacklist any contractor company found using non authentic financial documents or doing substandard work in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The DG made the warning while speaking during a bid opening for the award of contract for the renovation and construction of 46 road covering over 738.9 Km across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that, a suspecions was raised at various time with regards to Performance Bank guarantee, advance Payment Guarantee and other related contractual financial security documents presented by some companies, in view of that, measure have been taken to ensure every documents presented by any company is verified and authenticated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“So we encouraging contractors to always present the genuine documents obtained from reliable and reputable financial institutions, as any failure to do that is tantamount to attract blacklisting the affected company “<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are also emphasizing for companies to make sure they abide by all contractual obligations and agreement in the cause of executing the job given to them by Jigawa state government including timely completions of the projects”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
” In the same time from Due Process and Projects Monitoring Bureau we are assured the contractors that we will make sure the protection of contractors right including timely payment and other Government obligations for any awarding contract” DG Due Process declared<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech the Permanent Secretary Jigawa state Ministry of Works and Transport Qs Ahmad Isa said , as part of the commitment of Governor Umar Namadi administration to bridge infrastructures gap, facilitate movement of goods and services for social and economic development, a bid contract for major renovation and reconstruction of 42 roads was opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that, the road projects with total length of ove 738.9 KM will coast over N222.7 billion Naira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He however assured the participating contractors that, the Jigawa state government will do justice and follow a due process in selecting the wining companies for the contract of each slot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
